About us
The Space to Breathe Collective is a wellbeing co-operative that aims to create a community of care and to carry on activities which foster collective wellbeing. Our co-operative strives to make yoga, meditation, therapy and wellbeing more accessible, inclusive and participatory. We are a not-for-profit co-operative and we are run collectively by our members. Our safer space statement is below:
The Space to Breathe Collective invites everybody to actively commit to our Safer Space ethos.
At The Space to Breathe Collective, we aim to offer ourselves and others kindness, compassion, and respect.
We aspire to be in service to each other and hold an intention to do no harm.
We listen to and engage with each other with respect for our differences.
Within this ethos, we believe it is ok to constructively disagree with one another, recognising our individual experiences and perspectives.
The Space to Breathe Collective encourages everybody to be open to change and growth.
As a cooperative, we share our power with each other and work to achieve the best interests of the collective.

Charlotte Walsh
Charlotte teaches a mixture of breathwork, flowing movement, floor poses, yogic philosophy and meditation on Tuesday at 5.45 pm and Saturday at 9 am

Georgina Smith
On Thursdays at 6 pm George teaches a vinyasa flow centred around mindful movements and breath to create a moving meditation. Followed by a yin class at 7.15 pm a meditative approach to yoga, its goals are awareness of inner silence.

Bhavesh Ramji
Sundays with Bhavesh. This class is aimed to set you up with a 'kind reset' ready for the coming week. A mixture of yoga styles, we spend half the class flowing through some classical posters to warm up and prepare the body for more restorative and relaxing practices, using bolsters and blankets and all the comfy props. Sunday at 5.30 pm.

Helen Cockle
Helen’s yoga teaching journey has taken her on many paths which include pre and post-natal yoga.
Her classes focus on calming the nervous system and steadily building a flow of prana to balance all-round health. Helen covers classes at ‘the space’

Kim Woods
Kim teaches a flow class, expect creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness and a dose of inspiration. Everyone is welcome regardless of experience. Step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced. Tuesday at 9.30 am

Karolina Kozera
Karolina teaches vinyasa flow centred class, Preceded by breathing exercises, mantra meditation and always ending with a sound element. Suitable for all levels. Wednesday at 7.15 pm

Tess Lyons
Tess has been teaching Yoga since 2005 and she is committed to making Yoga available to all who wish to practice. Her aim is to help people experience Yoga as a complete mind & body practice and to assist them in developing their own practice to a level which meets their abilities and potential. Tess teaches Ashtanga at 7.00 pm on Tuesday and a mixed level class on Friday at 6 pm.

Natália Veneziani
Natália’s classes are gentle and calming. They start with meditation and intention setting, then move on to a progressive flow.
Natália teaches on Monday and Wednesday mornings at 10.30 am and every other Friday at 4.30 pm.

Krupa Shikotra
Krupa is passionate about being able to support people to connect to themselves, their breath and their bodies.
Her classes are all about connecting to your body and building a relationship with yourself through flow, mobility, movement and breath. Krupa teaches on Monday at 6 pm.

John McKeogh
John’s classes include a sequence of movements on the floor designed to promote mobility and awareness, followed by more dynamic postures to develop stability and vitality. Friday at 10.30 am.

Milena Rizotti
Milena teaches a class that flows between postures and breath and allows a deep connection to yourself. It’s the perfect end to a Wednesday that will leave you feeling enlivened and connected. Wednesday at 6 pm.

Daljit Kaur
Daljit specialises in Kundalini yoga. Focusing on reactivating the energy within through key yogic techniques including asanas, pranayama, kriyas and meditation. Aiming to restore the union between the physical and spiritual body. Toe touching is not necessary!

Krish
Tai Chi or Tajiquan is an internal martial art, which places our focus on our breath and moving from the hips and spine to become graceful and elastic. This develops our body from the inside out using a set of 13 postures. By developing fluid postures, our ability to navigate the world also begins to reflect this. As in body, so in mind, so in spirit. Thursdays at 6.30 pm

Amy Everett
Amy covers classes from time to time and teaches a Hatha based class that includes a flow of postures connecting movement and breath. includes breath work and a short meditation in every class, sometimes mantra and yogic philosophy too.
