What is yoga therapy?

Yoga Therapy applies evidence based yoga practices to alleviate physical and psychological suffering. For anxiety, it treats the body and mind together and can be an effective alternative to medication and talking therapy or done in conjunction with them. Sessions aim to calm the nervous system (reducing the psychological and physical symptoms of anxiety) through intelligent use of postures, breath-work and mindfulness.
